What drives my passion for design

I'm a designer driven by curiosity and a love for turning complexity into clarity. My journey began in teaching, where I learned how people think, learn, and interact with the world. That experience, along with my own path of self-discovery, taught me the importance of empathy, observation, and always looking beneath the surface.

Design became the natural extension of that curiosity. I thrive in spaces where problems are undefined, asking questions, researching deeply, and shaping solutions that feel intuitive and human. I believe great design happens when we consider both the user and the business—lasting solutions come from balancing empathy with strategy. Whether it's defining a business model, collaborating with stakeholders, or crafting a product from scratch, I approach every challenge with research, empathy, and a commitment to simplicity.

Outside of work, I bring the same mindset into my life. Practicing gymnastics has taught me patience and discipline, while hiking and time in nature refresh my perspective and sharpen my curiosity. I value healthy routines, continuous growth, and experiences that feel intentional—small or big.

At my core, I design with purpose. I care about creating experiences that resonate, empower, and make life a little easier. For me, design isn't just about products—it's about people, discovery, and the joy of solving problems in ways that feel natural and human.

Let's connect. I'd love to talk about design, research, and building products that balance user needs with business goals!
